Before becoming Program Director at Women Leading Ed, Wendy led technical assistance at Chiefs for Change, where she focused on strengthening leadership capacity and designing scalable systems and processes. Her work centered on developing frameworks that empower education leaders to drive sustainable, equitable improvements across diverse contexts.
With over 15 years of experience across the education ecosystem, from state agencies to districts and nonprofits, Wendy has worked at the intersection of policy, leadership development, and data-informed improvement. She has led strategic initiatives to reimagine high schools, enhance literacy, integrate AI tools, and measure academic return on investment. Her work includes designing capacity-building programs, managing large-scale grants, and advising education leaders through periods of growth and reform.
She began her career in education research and has consistently worked to turn complex challenges into clear, actionable strategies that promote equity and sustainable change.

Wendy holds a Juris Doctor with a Certificate in Conflict Resolution and a Ph.D. in Public Policy.
