Ryan Patenaude is a K-12 EdTech entrepreneur, operator, and strategic advisor with over 17 years of experience building at the intersection of education and technology. As Co-Founder of FEV Tutor, Ryan helped grow the company from a startup with no outside investment to one of the largest High Impact Tutoring organizations in the country, scaling from $0 to $50M in annual recurring revenue through organic growth before a successful 9-figure acquisition.

During his tenure, Ryan drove student outcomes at scale for millions of students in partnership with thousands of K-12 districts nationally. He was a pioneer in outcomes-based contracting in EdTech, helping establish a model that tied company success directly to student results, and was part of one of the first AI studies in EdTech in partnership with Stanford University.

Today, Ryan serves as Founder and Managing Director of RP Impact Partners, a strategic advisory firm that partners with EdTech companies committed to making positive change in K-12 education, those addressing the biggest opportunities in the space and with high growth potential. In addition to his advisory practice, Ryan leads an investing practice focused on the best and brightest emerging EdTech companies and founders. He sits on multiple Strategic Advisory Boards and serves on the Kitchen Cabinet of several leading education organizations.

Ryan's commitment to Women Leading Ed is personal. He was raised by strong women, his mother, sister, and grandmother were all public educators who shaped his belief that great teaching and great leadership change lives. Joining the WLE Fiduciary Board is his way of honoring that legacy and investing in the next generation of women leaders who will carry this work forward in K-12 education.

Ryan is based in the Boston area and is a proud advocate for the power of public education.
