Marin's experience in education spans multiple states and roles, equipping her with a unique understanding of system needs and the importance of robust support. As a middle grades English teacher and leader in literacy and social-emotional learning, she gained insight into the complexities and urgent opportunities within education.
Throughout her early career, Marin has demonstrated a talent for creative problem-solving and implementing efficient systems that yield tangible results. In her first two years in the classroom, Marin led the district in student literacy outcomes, while developing social-emotional programming and standard community engagement practices that are still in use today. Her subsequent experience, developing creative marketing strategies for small businesses and nonprofits, honed her ability to craft compelling messaging for varied audiences.
Marin's ability to translate experiential insights into strategic action and content, coupled with her creative perspective on data-driven solutions and collaborative partnerships, gives her the opportunity to comprehensively support and amplify the efforts of educational leaders across the country.
Education
Marin earned a bachelor’s degree in middle school education, with a specialization in english and history, from University of Cincinnati.
